A super easy and scrumptious butter chicken recipe. Made with Ina Paarman's Butter Chicken Sauce.
- 4 chicken fillets, cut into cubes
- 1 onion, chopped
- olive oil, for frying
- Ina Paarman's Masala Spice
- 200ml Ina Paarman's Butter Chicken Sauce
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 60 ml buttermilk
- freshly ground black pepper
InstructionsHeat you pan over a high heat, add the olive oil and fry the onions until soft and brown.
Add the chicken. Season generously with paprika and Ina Paarman's Masala Spice.
Lower the pan to a medium heat and fry the chicken for about 7 - 9 minutes. The chicken should not be completely cooked.
Now add Ina Paarman's Butter Chicken sauce, the yogurt and buttermilk and season with freshly ground black pepper. If you like a bit of a bite, you can add some chopped chillies.
Mix well and let it simmer for another 3 - 5 minutes.
Serve immediately on rice or a poppadum.
